I FRICKING LOVED THIS BOOK. I didn’t realize this was the same author as Haunting Adeline which I haven’t read yet bc I was scared it would be too dark for me.

“Identity theft is not a joke, Saywer! Millions of families suffer every year.”

Was Enzo delusional? Was it ever that serious? No, no it wasn’t. Obsessed over a one night stand then decides to nearly kill the girl over a £1000 and a little identity theft???
ALSO this guy just studies fish, where does he have the audacity to have this big bad energy from? … and a helicopter.

It was a lot more thriller, if this aspect wasn’t there then I think I would have hated it even more that i already do. I wish Sylvester’s past was explored more as it was interesting part of the story.

Where it completely left me is the talk on the megladon being possibly real. I am left in the dust with this one.

Does it hurt? Yes… yes it does

This is my fourth book by this author and it definitely didn’t disappoint. It’s a little different from the other books that I have read by her but I still enjoyed it. This book is told in dual POV by Sawyer and Enzo. Sawyer comes from an interesting past that forces her to be on the run. When she moves she eventually meets Enzo which didn’t result the way she wanted it to. Sawyer and Enzo go out onto a boat that crashes forcing them to stay at a lighthouse. What happens there is unspeakable. Imagine having to be in bed at a given time and locked in the room until morning time. The end of the book brought some shock of what Sawyer and Enzo finds out within the lighthouse. Overall this book was great and there is spice within it!! I would highly recommend
