Absolutely nothing happens in this book and the “romance” wasn’t very interesting. Cecelia has about as much personality as a wet paper towel. Edward is slightly, very slightly, better. But even he isn’t very interesting. I think that he should have been a lot more upset with Cecelia than he was.

Seems like lots of ppl are down on this book because they feel the lying on Cecelia's part is too much. And maybe the deception was approaching the point of being too unbelievable even for a genre whose readers are ready and willing to ignore the implausible as long as gets our hero the girl.

All in all Edward is just as *sigh* as the rest of the Bridgerton and Rokesby men.
