This was incredibly fun and sweet. I appreciate the lack of third act break up and the fact that even tho it’s a romances, it’s more character focused.

I absolutely loved this book! Maggie and Aiden were so relatable and lovable. Their life situations weren't perfect, it was delight to see them work through those to get closer to each other and recognize their mutual bond. Also great bisexual and demisexual rep, with characters of color and multiracial experience. A great read for the last month of 2023.

Ugh how many ways can I say I loved this? The banter is top notch, particularly for Maggie and Aiden, but also with Maggie and absolutely everyone else. Her son, her friends, and just about anyone else Maggie talks to has great repartee. I heard there was queer rep, and I love to see it. Watching this relationship blossom was just so beautiful, and I just wanted to hug the both of them. There is just something about following characters that have lived so much life and read as regular instead of "Sage and wisened" that is super relatable. I want more nerdy middle aged romance!
