Started out a bit slow but then it picked up and turned into a very good read. Ethan was the high school bad boy from the wrong side of the tracks and Faith was the high school untouchable princess from the opposite of the tracks. She’s the girl that was to good for him. She always had a crush on Ethan and vice versa but they never told each other. Fast forward ten years snd the tables have been turned. He’s now a successful businessman and she’s trying to get accepted again. They’ve both returned to their small town and surprisingly only have each other. Faith eventually had her old best friend who was always there for her. Ethan had family issues to resolve. Faith had her reputation that she was trying to save because of her father’s mistakes. These two grew close and in a way saved each other and was there for each other when needed when it was about their family issues. There was a hidden surprise that added more to Ethan’s family plate and as time passed it was the best thing that could have happened to their family. Faith played a huge role in Ethan’s family dynamics. Loved the ending but there’s still a long road for Ethan and his siblings.

This is a re-publish of a wonderful story. It is the start of an awesome series. I just re-read it and was so happy that I did. I love how the main characters are in turmoil with blaming each other for their crappy pasts. When they finally realize that they want each other the sparks fly off the page!!! A MUST READ!!

Enjoyable and moving book with wonderful love story and even an interesting troubled teenager!Faith is the example, how a pure soul cannot be spoiled with position and money. Ethan is the proof, that with the willpower and hard work you can achieve something and succeed. I liked the progress in the relationships of Tess with Ethan and Dare. The book is definitely worth reading, so go ahead and enjoy!!!

I thought that Serendipity was a cute book with real feeling characters, even if most of them were plagued with soap-opera pasts and many of the plot catalysts were either absurd or at the very least long-shots. I enjoyed reading this book even while feeling displaced by the chosen “reality.” Like meeting someone so far out of your own world they feel a bit unreal, this book was far afield from my normal reading and as such felt a bit foreign; but even still I felt like I was experiencing a slice of that other world, which is all that can be asked of a book. This volume spends the last chapter setting up the next book in the series, which sounded interesting and would certainly help to tie up many of the ends left in the town in which this series is based around.
I give Serendipity four stars for an enjoyable reading experience.

I needed a distraction and once again, Carly Phillips delivers with the first book in this new trilogy.
I fell hard and fast for this book. I was instantly involved from the first page. I felt the connection of the characters and their troubles. Very much a good read. Carly Phillips is always a terrific writer but she has definitely out done herself on this one. I will definitely be reading the rest of the series and enjoying every moment of it!
