Ugh. The ending. I feared that it would devolve into schmaltzy, cliche sappiness and it did. It's obvious why they're making a movie out of this - it shares the same qualities as all those Nicholas Sparks' books they churn out every year. Not for me!

Ms Jojo Moyes,
The fact that you have brilliantly written this tear-jerker piece of a book has rendered me speechless. I'm writing this while still having controlling tears and emotions dripping down my cheeks. The story was strong and I can't wait to see where Lou will be heading to with her life in After You.
