Very cute and easy read. The banter between Lila and Ian was great and loved their clear communication. Loved that there was no third-act break up.

I listened to the audiobook because I love both narrators.

However, the story overall wasn’t good. The MMC was a lost puppy dog. I can’t image a hockey pro being so pathetic.

The dialogue didn’t flow at parts and also cheesy.

The spicy scenes were awkward.

Finally, there was no chemistry between the couple no matter how well the narrators did.

I’m surprised I didn’t DNF this one.
