It was okay. I liked the childhood crush aspect of it and the teasing ang longing glances. The background drama was a little messy and the PR drama could've lasted a little longer.

They’d been apart long enough that the seeing her grow up factor wasn’t ick. External conflicts they support each other through. No third act break up. My biggest problem with the novel was with his mother. Why would any loving mother allow her husband to be cruel to their child for years?
