Such a fun and satisfying book. This is the first one I really really liked from this author. Definitely

childhood issues. It was a very cute story. But very steamy

This was such a fun time! Simultaneously sweet and spicy! I loved Delilah and Ian's relationship, the chemistry between them. They've known each other for a very long time and I liked seeing how that played into the foundation of their romance, while getting to know each other better as adults and acknowledging the attraction they shared. And the side characters were fun, especially Jack! As far as brother's best friend tropes go, he wasn't too alpha male in handling the situation and brought some humor to the book!

Another great steamy read from Lana!

I can't count how many times I giggled over Ian and Delilah's steamy childhood friends-to-lovers romance, a trope I'm not really a huge fan of but as usual Lana makes it work! ✨️

I read her works usually via audiobook and I would suggest you to do it too! Samantha Summers narration of Lana's FMC are always amazing!

8/10

This is your standard, run of the mill, sports hockey romance, though not set in college, it does have this forbidden element of brothers best friend.

They get together quite quickly under the guise of fake dating. I totally called the big secret Ian was keeping by the way. Quite predictable but I wasn’t reading this book for any mystery anyway.

It’s a pretty good romance, very fast paced at the end and a little instant lovey which I’m not the biggest fan of but whatever.

Bonus points for no third act breakup. Quite spicy. I’ve also used the word quite, quite often in this review…
