Unread shelf project 2021: book 50.
Hmm. Hannah is very nosy. Haha, she did get on my nerves a little bit with this one, but that being said, I am loving all of the insider peeks at her town and her friends and neighbors. I also like seeing her relationships with both Mike and Norman growing (& her relationship with her sister improving) but can we please not have a love triangle? At least be a little more original and make it a love square or a love hexagon or a love decagon or SOMETHINGGG.

I wasn't entirely sure how I'd feel about the second book in the Hannah Swensen series since, while I liked the first book well enough, I wasn't completely won over by Chocolate Chip Cookie Murder.
However, I actually found myself really enjoying this book much better. Last time, I started the book and read about half before walking away to read some other things before coming back and finishing. This time it only took me a few days to get through this book.
I'm not entirely sure what the big difference was since the majority of the main characters were the same, as was the setting and overall tone. Perhaps it was just the mystery itself that held my interest better.
One thing that didn't change was the cozy feeling I got from reading the book. I think my enjoyment of this mystery will be enough to carry me on to the next book in the series in the near future.
