Wow, I really loved this book. While I generally enjoy the Hannah Swensen books, this one just had that extra oomph because of the plot line around the baking contest (which I also enjoy IRL). I also really enjoyed getting to see Hannah and Andrea working together and deepening their relationship to actually be friends and not just family. The only thing I consistently didn’t like was learning more about Mike who increasingly seems to be an arrogant, misogynistic asshat. I really hope Hannah picks Norman.

I really enjoyed this second book of Joanna Fluke's. I like the fact that it is one of a series and I enjoy the continuity from book to book - looking forward to the Blueberry Muffin Murder next!!

I had to look up what a 'cozy mystery' was because that what these kept being called. They are and I truly enjoy them in their simplicity. This is the second of the series and was a quick engaging read. Looking forward to the next in the series!

3.5 I liked this book better than the first in the series. Less fat jokes :D
Cute banter and cute book. I like the additional characters that interact with Hannah in each book and look forward to following along.

I love reading Cozy Mysteries . They usually provide a relaxing, enjoyable read. I enjoy the Hannah Swensen series for that reason. It's not high brow literature, but it was a good read.
I feel this series is missing something. The plots aren't as inventive as the recipes.
