A fun read that has all the elements for a funny/ridiculous love story.
I know a lot of people preferred Thorne's other book, but I felt that this book held more chemistry, history, and every other factor people look for in a romance novel. Although some might say otherwise- might even call this book boring or whatever, but as much as I love the goody-two-shoes heroine who everybody loves and get the guy without even trying... I also love myself a badass, headstrong, not afraid to get the guy, and did I mention funny? Anyways, some might not think the same way, especially the last part (they might even say corny), but I really like heroine. Would have even given it 5 stars if it weren't for the rushed ending.

What a fun...and HOT read! There are books out there which are simple, but roll your emotions from excitement to tears to smiles full of laughter, and 99 Percent Mine by Sally Thorne is exactly that. If you are looking for a fun book where you can get lost in someone else's life for a quick minute, I recommend this for you.
Fun palette cleanser! Reminded me of a Hallmark movie and I could easily cast the MMC. Some spice, but not much. Classic best friend’s younger sister and a HEA. The banter was good and I liked the addition of the health issue to bring more reality into the book.
2.5 stars. I also read it but there’s not a book version on here.
So, it was okay. An easy read, had a decent concept, some really good moments, but I felt the way the story was written missed the mark. I felt good towards the beginning, meh in the middle, and was ready to stop readying at the last 50 pages. Maybe my hopes were too high after The Hating Game but unfortunately it wasn’t for me. :(

A fun read and I recommend it. The characters were engaging, if stubborn in the romance tradition of not seeing what is in front of your face.
Readers picking up this book have probably read her previous (and amazing) book, The Hating Game, so everyone will be thrilled to find out there is a bonus The Hating Game epilogue included in 99 Percent Mine! A tiny snippet of Lucy and Josh's life together, hooray! But back to this story:
Darcy is a tough, scrappy gal working in a biker bar, pouring drinks and tossing out men left and right. She's loyal as can be, but impulsive. She has a passport chock full of stamps from all the times she's dropped everything and moved to another country. She also has a pretty serious heart condition, but she's dealing with it with it by ignoring it, drinking a lot, and taking her medication sporadically.
Tom Valeska is Darcy's childhood friend; in fact he's been her twin Jamie's best friend since they were eight years old. He's Darcy's opposite in temperament - he's shy, steady, serious. While Darcy is intense and prone to blowing up and wrecking relationships, Tom is a fixer, a builder. He patches things together.
To adult Darcy's dismay, Tom is only 1% hers. He belongs to Jamie, and he belongs to Megan, his fiancee, while Darcy gets the leftovers and it's just not enough. Not after how close they used to be.
Fate throws them together as Tom is hired to renovate Darcy and Jamie's cottage they inherited from their fortune-telling, palm-reading, tarot-card-loving grandmother. As they rip down walls and tear down cabinets and tiles, Darcy tries to repair their relationship as well. Will they be able to overcome past hurts or will she be skipping town per usual when she finally finds her missing passport?
99 Percent Mine has plenty of humor and heat, and I consumed it in one big gulp, like a tasty cupcake. If you liked The Hating Game, you'll enjoy this one as well. 3.75 stars.

Writing is not to par, it is messy and unclear. The characters do not have any personalities and there is drama that is unnecessary.
Why was this book written, is an unanswered question.
