THIS BOOK KILLED ME. Absolutely RIPPED my heart out!!!! While I was still invested in Nya and Captain Rose's journey, Adam's storyline definitely captured my attention. The Priests and how they operate was really interesting to read about and AH the ending. I think the ending of this book was what I really loved. It was heartbreaking and it definitely was a bit of a cliffhanger, but it was really fast-paced and had just a lot going on. Which I LOVE in stories. I cried so much at the end but I also laughed throughout this story. I definitely think this book is a lot sadder in tone, but it sets up the next book really nicely. Which, I cannot wait for the third book in this series to come out!! I love it!!
