The third part kinda took me out a bit as I’m not well informed on religious topics/theology but I liked how the writing styles changed and it was fascinating learning about these characters

This was a really interesting read. I can't say I liked it, the content makes that pretty difficult, but I do appreciate what the author was doing and how he chose to tell this story.

I think someone with more understanding of the bible would get more out of this than I did - it definitely screams religious trauma which is just something I don't possess lol.

I can also see the ending being a tough sell for a lot of people but personally I kind of liked it, I really appreciate an author who tells their story exactly the way they want to even if it makes it more unpalatable to a general audience
