Waste of a premise. Nothing happens and nobody does anything. Boring and stretched.

This was such a weird book to me. Especially since this feels like only the start, the book finishes when things were finally happening. However, I do see why it's such a beloved book, but it's not for me. Will watch the movie for sure tho.

adventurous slow-paced
A low rating just because personally the book isn’t my taste. Just had a hard time getting into it and following along. Might need to revisit. The last 1/4 of the book was easier for me to get into. The message of the book in timeless though and just crazy how Clarke was so accurate talking about the “future” considering the time the book was written
