A very nice and enjoyable sequel where we see the main character continue to interact with the large and eclectic cast of characters in her attempts to solve the current mystery.

A better overall story than the first book, but the insistence on keeping the "will they, won't they" aspects of Sam and Josie's relationship continues to detract from the plot and characterisation. Not all books need a romantic subplot--and I say that as someone who primarily reads cheesy romance novels.

Great sequel! I love this series. I got a little confused in who was who between the architect, assistant, contractor. I’m also sad we haven’t heard more about Josie’s family. It seems like they’d be around more. Overall, a cute, witchy, cozy mystery!

2.5* This book wasn't as cute and cozy as the first. It felt a little disjointed and the story line felt unbelievable, like we were eased or clued into any discoveries before they happened.

I loved the first book in this series, but I just couldn't get into this one. I love the town, the premise, and the set-up of the library, but overall, it just fell flat for me. I wasn't really into the mystery and it just felt disjointed.

Great Second Book

I really love this series. Not only is she a librarian she is a magical one! I love the mystery and trying to solve the mystery before the end of the book! Ready for the next one!
