Cute, fun story, but I did not like the art style. This one didn't focus on the Crystal Gems much, but instead on how Sadie was feeling about Lars being gone.

Art could've been better. I thought Lars was gonna show up. I really wished he did, the graphic novel would've been more interesting if they explored more of his and Sadie's dynamic ever since he left for space. The reveal of the fire salt's sabotage was cheesy and underwhelming, too.

I didn't love this, but it was fun enough. Obviously, I am in the minority in my feelings on this one, so if you love Steven Universe, definitely pick this up while you patiently (or maybe impatiently) wait for the movie!

A fun adventure selling food truck doughnuts, but on a deeper level this is a look into Sadie's tender heart as she thinks about Lars being so far away. Sardonyx makes a guest appearance as well!
