I found this book very inspiring to work to grow in my “gritty-ness”!

I liked this! I think grit and determination are so important. Consistency, even small choices everyday, makes the biggest difference.

This is an excellent book providing a plethora of research and anecdotal pieces about grit and how we can grow grit and foster our passions.

I don't know why I waited so long to read this book when I KNEW I was going to like it. And I did. A lot. This isn't just a "grit is good and you need more" book, but it explores what grit really looks like, how people can increase (and why they should) with examples that are wide and diverse. I appreciated the way that years and years of research (both Duckworth's and others) explore the reasons behind pursuing a life with more grit. I found it very interesting (probably more interesting than I expected) and paused the audio to reflect several times. I really highly recommend reading/listening to this.
