I have to admit. At first, I was very annoyed. I mean the way he was obsess with Loraine was annoying. He kept on talking about how he loved her and it was really frustrating to say the least. And who finds out they're pregnant or suspect they're pregnant and doesn't go see a doctor? Someone stupid. I was annoyed like she kept on saying she would see a doctor but never did. It was frustrating. The girl literally treated him as a joke and he took her back each time. Besides that tho, I fell in love with this book. I don't understand how it has only 3.8 stars. It was very well written and the connection between the characters was beyond wonderful. It wasn't like anything I've read. It was reassuring and different. A good kind of different. I held on to the book the whole time. I love how there were big words. You don't find book that surprises you nowadays. Honestly there's a lot more I could say but they can't capture how amazing this book is and how I felt reading it. The ending was great. I HIGHLY recommend.

3.5 This book was very interesting. It took me a while to get through but when I was reading it I didn’t want to put it down. Sam and Penny are both messes and trying to get through life like any other person. I didn’t feel connected to them that much and felt a little bit lost to be honest for most of their conversations but the overall plot was good.

Overall, I was excited to give this author another chance because the other book she had written, Yolk, wasn't exactly an amazing read for me. This one however, was more enjoyable. I found the plot to be kind of bare, though. When I first noticed the title and started to read the book, I really thought it would go into the areas of exploring anxiety and other sort of disorders, but it was just an odd romance. Speaking of the romance, I didn't really feel like there was any between the main characters, it was more of really close friends.

This was my second time reading this book, and while I still really like it, there are several lines that are NOT okay. So, three stars this time around. It's still the BEST book I've read in terms of including texting/social media that is actually like how new adults talk (and not like how adults think we talk). Also I paid more attention to the Anima baby's story this time (lol) and it was interesting.

WHOA. I really liked it. It was almost way too dreamy at the beginning, but once there’s a connection, it’s impossible to put down. Way to go, Mary H.K. Choi. I loved this. It is exactly the way people fall in love.
