I have mixed feelings towards this. This wasn't bad, but some parts felt shallow and plain. Although I did enjoy a few poems this wasn't what I was truly expecting. I was a bit disappointed, but I am still interested in reading more of the author's work.

The book is written so beautifully. I really liked how it had four sections: hurting, loving, breaking, healing.Rupi Kaur I really poured her heart out in this book and she did it in such a beautiful way and I really liked seeing how through the sections she started growing(not necessarily herself but what she hoped she could do). There were moments in this book that I re-read the section or sat there and thought "wow, that was good".I also really liked the drawings. A gorgeous book about loving yourself-especially as a woman- that I think every women should read!

the only author whos poetry really impacted me

too pretentious
felt like ive already seen some stuff somewhere else

I felt bad not liking it. There were some good lines in there but a lot of it felt more like quotes people post on social media without going any deeper than that. Perhaps the style is just not for me.
