Just! So! Good! This series tends to trundle along at a slow pace and then suddenly hurtle through some really high stakes scenes that my poor heart can't handle. Naraku features so heavily at the moment that I keep having to remind myself that there's still more than 20 volumes to go (pray for me). Kohaku's storyline is so upsetting too, but I can't wait to see how it develops.

A situação de Sesshoumaru com a entrada foi previsível, embora satisfatória (obviamente a situação não podia ser resolvida de outra maneira). O mesmo se pode dizer dos restantes combate, sendo o ponto alto do volume, para mim, o aparecimento da horda de ratos-yokai.

This go around I read the German translation and while I love the series, I’m still not a fan of the attempt to make those books into childrens stories and sanitze the language for pre-schoolers. I really hate that. It’s a common thing with Manga and German translations and it really annoys me. Nonetheless I love the story and the characters and everything really. Except Kikyo ;)
