Undeniably Unexpected is the 6th book in the Boston's Irresistible Billionaires series. If you have read the previous books in the series, some of your favorite characters will make appearances again. Although you can read it as a standalone, some scenes will make more sense if you have read the previous books. This is the story of Keegan and Loomis.
I actually really enjoyed this book. I usually hate the single dad trope, so just know I went in reading with a bias. However, I was easily won over. I would be a fool not to fall in love with Loomis Powell, our sexy actor, MMC. His charm just oozed off the page. His life was a bit chaotic, but his priorities were clear. There was no way that our FMC Keegan would be able to resit him. This book is spicy, and the banter between the characters is great. There was great character development, it was just an overall good read.

Holy crap the chemistry between these two! Although this is book 6 in the Boston’s Irresistable Billionaires series, you definitely do not need to read the others before this one. Loomis - the brilliant British actor that his is - is trying to figure out how to raise his son, a piece of information that hasn’t gone public yet. Keegan is almost done with her OB/GYN residency, but just signed a 5 book publishing deal. One fake dating story later, and they're thrown together as the media finds out everything all at once. Forced proximity in a cottage in the Key West causes all rules to go out the window when it comes to these two and their feelings.
Loomis - I love the possessive vibes he gives off from the get go. His feelings for his son and Keegan go hand in hand. It was really nice to see the exchange with his mom, and the realization that comments we make to our children can stick with them for life. The fact that he had absolutely zero understanding of Little Mermaid comments made me laugh. And the British vibes reminded me so much of home!
Keegan - This woman! From her Jessica Rabbit vibes to the immediate protection she gives Fenric and Loomis to the curves of her body....She's definitely a favorite FMC of mine! Watching her struggle with coming to terms with her wishes to do both medicine and writing, while also balancing the famous family concept was great!
The spice was spicing. The romance was romancing. 4.5 stars completely well deserved!

It’s hard to believe that this is the sixth book in the Boston’s Irresistible Billionaires series that I’ve read, but it’s definitely true.
After reading Undeniably Infatuated, I just had to read a romance centred around Loomis and Keegan. From the third book in the series, we could see that these two were made for each other and that all they needed was a little nudge to take their relationship from platonic to romantic.
So, brimming with curiosity and hope, I started reading Undeniably Unexpected. As expected, I really liked this book. What I certainly didn’t expect was to find Loomis Powell playing the real role of single dad. However, at no point did it seem unnatural in his life journey. Fatherhood suits Loomis perfectly. From the first lines introducing Fenric, we see that the little boy has become the centre of his father’s world.
I also liked the fact that Keegan had a secret career as a paranormal romance author. This is something I wouldn’t have expected from a future OB-GYN, which proves that you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover. Although I expected her relationship with Alden not to last—nothing and no one could stop me from wanting to read a story about Loomis and her—I didn’t expect him to be so insistent, given that it was his words that ended their relationship.
The time spent on Keegan’s uncle’s private island was pivotal in shaping the relationship between Keegan, Loomis, and Fen. It is during these moments that we sense the three of them gradually becoming a family.
The mystery surrounding who was trying to sabotage Loomis kept me on the edge of my seat until Vander finally solved the case using his impressive computer skills.
While we’re speaking of Vander, I can’t wait to read Undeniably Corrupt, the seventh book in the Boston’s Irresistible Billionaires series, which will centre around him.

I just love the Fritz family and getting to spend time with Keegan and Loomis was just what I needed. He's a single dad, life is completely different for him now and I enjoyed that growth and the protective side of him. Keegan is working hard, following her dreams, and making decisions that may change things for her. These two together have a connection, this pull that they try to deny. Their story flowed well, has a ton of spice, and a lot of heart. Add in his adorable little boy Fen and it all comes together perfectly. Getting little visits with past characters, has me looking forward to what is to come.

I enjoyed Keegan and Loomis's fake-to-real dating and I also enjoyed the plot twist of Fen. This book was hot, dreamy, and contained just the right amount of suspense as to who was trying to muck up Keegan and Loomis's relationship.
