I dont know what J. Saman puts in her books - every reader is guaranteed a good time! Undeniably Unexpected is the 6th book in this series and I still love this doctor family and their messy but sweet love lives. This book is about Keegan, a doctor in the morning and romance author by night and Loomis, a British actor. Keegan had just broken up with her ex and needed a barrier so she doesnt go back to him. Enter Loomis who is in quite a band after discovering his son abandoned on his doorstep. Loomis needed a media distraction and divertion so he fake dates Keegan in hopes that defeats the noise of his PR nightmare. But of course - his baby falls in love with Keegan, so does he. Due to being abandoned by his dad, Loomis has been opposed to being in a relationship until he cant fight his feelings for Keegan anymore. Honestly, I was not sold on Loomis when he was mentioned in the previous books but I really did enjoy this one. I love how committed he was to his son and how he didnt want him to experience what he experienced as a child. Love how he was patient and understanding with Keegan and letting her heal and start over with him. I love the whole Fritz family and how chaotic but fun they are. Love seeing the previous couples from the other books in this series thriving and happy. Love the Fritz grandma and how she defended Keegan to the press. My favorite part is Loomis' grand gesture and confession (no spoilers). It is total swoon. The books in this series has an element of suspense and mystery and this one I did not see coming. I thought for sure it was (him) but I guess it was too obvious.

Overall, I think this is a great medical romance series (although this one has less medical/hospital scenes) that is totally underrated but should get more attention. Loved I discovered J. Saman as an author and happy to be a part of her street team now. Thank you J and her team for the advance copy.
