Kinda slow, kinda fun but didn’t deliver in the end. I wanted to see more things like the treadmill scene honestly

I could not put this book down! I loved the story and it was well written in a back and forth style between mother and daughter. The twist was in a similar vein to Gone Girl but with a fresh spin on it!

Darling Rose Gold was one of my highly anticipated 2020 reads, and I enjoyed it! This was such an addicting read, and I had fun watching the manipulative games play out.
This book is on the bleaker side, and it deals with some heavy topics. If you're familiar with the story of Gypsy Rose and Dee Dee Blanchard, Darling Rose Gold will probably interest you.
The ending was a little too neat and far-fetched, but I liked the book as a whole. It was dramatic, and kept my attention the entire time. I'm interested in checking out whatever Stephanie Wrobel does next! Thank you to Berkley Pub for sending me a copy to review. This one will be out on 3/17.
CW - bullying, suicide, eating issues, child abuse, self-harm

This was an unexpected suspense!
The characters, the mother/daughter relationship, the them of revenge...
I raced through it to find out what happens- and loved the “BAM” 3/4 of the way through!

This was a good, quick read, if not a little predictable. i feel like i guessed the ‘twist’ way before it came about.

This is a twisted book. I was not a big fan and almost decided to not finish. However, I did finish and it still was just weird.

Wow! This book kept you on your toes for sure - I did not know where it was going even when I thought I did I was totally wrong.
