As a lot of other people said, I loved the book but I hated how it made me feel.
The writting is on point and the emotions were so realistic I couldn’t not relate to Blu! I already know I will still think about this book in a few weeks and that I will read it again at some point!

4.75-This book was not at all what I expected. Most romances are all sunshine and rainbows with a happy ending. This wasn’t that at all. It was very very deep, ugly, and real. It very much gave right time wrong person. The main character had some of the best character development I’ve ever seen at the end and although the couple will never have their happy ending that they tried so many times for it feels right. Another instance where independently published romances eat every time

Side note: check trigger warnings because this book is definitely one of the deepest I’ve read

I loved that the author wrote two endings. Surprisingly I was happy they didn’t end up together. Good book. . Some really good quotes. The author is a young girl idk her age but I would guess like 20-25 I’m excited to see what else she writes as she grows as an author.

Very much a journey or self love for Blue. I hated her at first but she grew on me.

I read this book on a whim and I was sucked in very quickly. The author did a great job portraying the toxic cycle between Blu and Jace. Blu's frustration, disappointment, and, desire to be needed by Jace came through the pages realistically and were easily realatable. I was beyond happy the two did not end up together, I think it was a healthy ending for her continued journey to healing.

The alternate ending was a unique way of appeasing the audience.

book so good i wrote to the author

What just happened? Like ACTUALLY what just happened? This book made me feel physically sick and numb and although there was indeed some tiktok viral worthy highlights in here, I kind of hate it. But like, I don’t? I’m confused and hurt and literally am getting flashbacks to reading depressing wattpad fanfics when I was 12. Anyways. Moving on.
