I don't feel like we really advanced anything with this entire volume of Outcast. There was no character development, we already knew all these things about these characters. Basically one thing happens to advance the plot. Outcast is kind of losing me.

I started with the third book in the series, and it actually worked out very well. It looks like some of the reviews are saying that not much plot development happened in this book but if you're spending half the book trying to figure out what this whole thing is about it was quite pleasurable. This is a great book if you enjoy Supernatural or elements of the Dresden Files.
