It’s so lighthearted and sweet. The happily ever after summer read we all needed. I love how they fall for each other. I love how they balance each other out. Their love stands the test of time too and it’s nice to see all the representation. Also, of course, the excellent smut is appreciated. Definitely a great summer beach read

A sweet little romance! I definitely need more queer love stories in my life because this was just an absolute joy to read. All of the characters were so lovable and relatable, and I was constantly rooting for Opal and Pepper! The second half of the story was harder for me to get through… but that more than likely was my mood and not the book’s fault. The writing was fun and easy to read, and I honestly have no huge complaints! Just a really cute sapphic story 👩❤️💋👩💕

Really wanted to like it but all the parentheses and explanations in opal’s and pepper’s inner monologues were annoying and felt like trying to force ~relatable and quirky~ comedy. Plus, when the emotions and reasons behind the emotions are so clearly written out it sort of feels like being talked down to as a reader
