oh this was so beautiful 🥹🥹

(version FR ci-dessous)

It was an interesting story, I devoured this novel! It's a feel-good book even though it deals with difficult subjects (grief).
I love stories with time travel. I really enjoyed this one.
Both characters were very well written. I don't read many MF romance novels anymore, as I often find the female characters annoying, but that wasn't the case here.
It was poetic and made me want to go back to New York...

SPOILERS

-0.5 because in the end they don't see each other much in the past (3 or 4 times) but it has a big impact on their lives, and because there's no chapter where she sees her aunt again, which I was waiting for throughout the book...

4.5⭐

Je me suis régalée ici.

I've loved Ashley Poston for a long time but this might just be my favorite of her books yet. It was a delightful little romance and, while I was able to figure out most of the main "mysteries" pretty quickly, there were still a few plot things that managed to surprise me. I loved the magical realism of the apartment and the main leads had great chemistry - although I didn't quite feel like their relationship would have progressed as quickly as it did in the book.

I was also really sad that we didn't get to see them explain their situation to their friends. Clementine is a unique enough name that Iwan's friends are definitely going to realize she's the same girl. But Clementine's friends will wonder why she hadn't told them about a guy she dated seven years ago. Something will have to be explained at some point and it would have been a really fun conversation to witness as readers.
