🐦🔥 Fantasy zoo keeping?! My dream book! I don’t think I’ve ever rated a cozy fantasy this high! Such a fun story with queer romance, social anxiety rep, and immersive zoo keeping details. Enjoyable, upbeat narration in the audiobook. Loved it and wish there were more!

Wish there’d been more focus on world building. I know there are different lands but I can’t remember anything about them.
Loved the character diversity.
FMC was so whiny and annoying. I’m guessing she was supposed to be neurodivergent but it wasn’t done in an endearing/empathetic/relatable way. She did get better though.
Maybe better suited for (pre)teens?

A magical zoo, magical birds and animals, a Phoenix, griffins and keepers who want to save them. This book though is a little bit slow and repetitive, was a delight to read.
