The perfect follow-up to Night Shift. Suspenseful builds, meaty reveals, visceral action, phew! I enjoyed this book very much. Bring on book three!!

Another fabulous installment to the Night series. Night Life carries over the emotional turmoil of the first book, and adds to it exponentially. With the classic noir feel still front and center, we get to know Harold Jacobson a little better and what drives him. Not all is as it seems. This was a compulsive read for me, I couldn't put it down once I started.
