This novella wasn’t really doing it for me. It didn’t actually seem to make me like Cole in the original book any more in fact it made me like him less.

A great short story set before the events of The Near Witch.

Having just finished The Near Witch, I appreciated being able to read more about Cole/Will’s past and being able to understand more about what he went through growing up.
