I have pretty much given up on Agaths Christie. They're just too dated for me. To many stereotypes and casual slurs. I've read Murder on the Orient Express And Then There Were None. Bailed on A Caribbean Mystery.

But this one's been on my TBR for a long time because of it's title. Although the Hallowe'en Party is just the set up. I quickly bored with the ramblings of all the characters.

What it did have going for it was a garden. I really enjoyed the descriptions of a Quarry Pit that was transformed into a Sunken Garden and how it became part of the mystery.
