Good story. I always like Grisham books but this one was just a bit too long and after awhile I sped through sections to keep it moving.

Like most Grisham stories, this was an easy read. It moves swiftly and certainly to an expected happy resolution. I was happy to pick up with Jake Brigance once again - "A Time to Kill" is probably my favorite Grisham. There were a few twists and turns to add sufficient interest but overall there was little new material here. I liked the characters well enough and disliked the "bad guys." But none of them were really unique and failed to capture my imagination. All in all, standard Grisham fare but certainly not an outstanding novel by Grisham's or anyone else's standards.

The sequel to A Time to Kill did not disappoint. I loved that all of the characters were back and the conclusion was well-conceived!

John Grisham returns to Jake Briggance and Ford County. While not as emotionally jarring as A Time to Kill, I found Sycamore Row a much more enjoyable read. Not as thrilling but a much more enjoyable story with better characters.

Fast paced, fun read. I really enjoyed it. Definitely recommended.

Enjoyable but predictable.

Im a huge fan of John Grisham.. and this book did not disappoint.

A time to kill is one of my favourite books, it was great already knowing the characters in Sycamore Row. I loved it, couldn't put it down.
