A nice retelling of the Odyssey for those who struggle with more “traditional” translations/retellings. Personally didn’t love the art style, but that’s subjective- the art gets the story across well.

This graphic novel made me actually enjoy reading The Odyssey, which surprised me because I had a much duller experience with the epic poem in high school. It also made me realize what a terrible person Odysseus is—seriously such a jerk!

I really liked this retelling! The art was wonderful and the prose was very like the poem. It is helpful to have just read (or be exceedingly familiar with) the Odyssey when reading this. Otherwise you will miss some of the nuance.
