I cannot stop at just one!
Reading a book by Lena is a lot like eating a bag of chips, I dare you to try to read just one. Because I simply cannot, and what I can’t figure out is how each book just gets better and better! I mean, I thought Whip King was a perfect book boyfriend, and now after meeting the brooding Abel King I feel like I was wrong.
Abel has been trying to turn his life around, and he’s almost there, but his father isn’t ready for him to do that. So when an opportunity to finally get what he’s always wanted presents itself how can he refuse, especially when that opportunity has been the subject of many late night thoughts.
Abel and Sloane’s story is filled with all the good things and we get a few more answers about what might have happened to Abel’s mom, but there are still so many more questions, and I’m so glad that this series is complete so we don’t have to wait to find out.
Lena writes books I love to read, so I’m going to keep on doing it. You should too, so grab some chips and cuddle up with these King men!

I've wanted to read Lena Hendrix's books for long time, and this one gave a good first reading new-to-me author experience.
It was not 5 stars because I felt something was missing. Even though the chemistry between Sloane and Abel was perfect but for me, they were not talking enough to each other. There were no any miscommunication between them but I wish they talked more.
I loved how Sloane's kids, Tillie and Ben, warmed up and got so close to Abel. Their scenes were also not enough for my likes.

Okay, hear me out—marriage of convenience is usually not my favorite trope. I honestly can’t think of one that I just loved… until now! It was so well done. If more stories handled the trope like this, I’d be all in! Sloane and Abel were perfection and so were the kids! Plus, the way the mystery is unfolding throughout the series is just brilliant. It makes me want to binge-read the whole thing, even though I’m trying to pace myself—I don’t want to say goodbye to the King family just yet!
