In my opinion this book was quite different than the first two that I read. I’m reading this in Narnia time order, not the publication order. This book reminded me of when I first read The Hobbit. I felt lost a couple times and it took me so long to get through this short book. It was still a good read though!

The book was really good, but compared to the first two narnia books, it didn't the the "sparkle" and didn't feel as magic. I really liked it though and the story was good.

I enjoyed this read, but it was a lot less entertaining than TLTWATW. I liked the imagery, but the names were hard to keep straight with me listening. I liked reading about the 4 kids as queens and kings

Continuing to read the series aloud to the girls...

This has always been my favourite of the Chronicles. It’s got humour, frights, action, and a great character story at its heart.

Meh.

The dialogue was tiresome and the story was not that interesting. My boys are enjoying it, but compared to The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe and the Magician's Nephew it falls way short.

Maybe I rushed. I think I'll give it another chance in a while and see if I enjoy it any more.

Just a really fun adventure story. Simple but sweet.
