This was my favourite book in the Narnia series growing up. The racist undertones I picked up on, on this re-read soiled the fun of returning to it sadly. As with all of his books though, there’s a lot of learning the characters do with regards to empathy, courage, dealing with their prejudices, and facing their fears which, coupled with the exciting adventures of Narnia, always undoubtedly makes for an enjoyable read.
another new story that didn't have movie. it's fresh and I love the dynamic between aravis and shasta—or we called him cor now— wow also in this war, Peter didn't join cz he still against the giant in the stormness. I LOVE EDMUND BECOME KING OF JUSTICE, his character development was amazing and kinda surprised me when knowing fact that Susan didn't join the war cz we know she's so GOOD being as an archer but im glad she aint married Rabadash, cuih. also bree and hwin!!! hope they still rolling on grass, xixi. last we must mention His name, ASLAAANNN!!! the fact that He always with Cor since the beginning make me shsjshsjsjd. I got goosebumps. But im so sorry cz i lack of read the compass so my brain stop process when cs lewis explained the direction—yk im being too much, hyperbolic. BUT OVERALL I ENJOYED THE STORY, lov.

It took me about half the book to really get into the story. But after that, I was hooked. Not my favorite of the Narnia series, but definitely a good read.
