Interesting wild stories, and also interesting points made in the final interview such as storytelling being somehow like therapy.

I loved how this book expanded on the beautiful telling via instagram. It was interesting throughout and gave a nice slice of life that was full of details and made me also want more! I appreciate this highlight of not only an individual but a piece of history.

This has to be the most action-packed biography I've ever read. Stephanie Johnson has had a fascinating life filled with "you'd never believe this" moments, and it's clear she's not done yet.

The spicy side of life

This book was so entertaining! My jaw was on the floor with some of the wild stories that Stephanie shared in this book. What I know for sure is that I couldn’t put this book down!!!

If you read the blog, Humans of New York, then you're likely already familiar with the story of Stephanie Johnson, stage name Tanqueray. While this fully fleshed out version of her story gives more details than the original Instragram posts, it's short compared to the typical memoir. The whole is still cohesive, despite Johnson's rambling style, and I came away with a better understanding of one of the most successful burlesque dancers in New York City.

All in all, a quick engaging read.
