AMAZING!!!! As a teacher, this book really did a number on my heart.

Wonderful

This is a wonderful story. A good reminder that people are people, no matter the baggage they carry with them.

I'm very happy I picked this one up and then continued reading it after putting it down due to personal reasons. I'm a teacher and there was so much about this book that hit very close to home. The writing was so accessible and the story itself showed so much hope and kindness, if we only let ourselves pay attention to the people around us and their needs.

The Unteachables

I really like how the teacher has a voice in this book. It shows teachers as adults who have their own issues and problems, and it’s a fantastic example of how a class can become a family that sticks up for one another. This would be a great discussion starter! Some of the plot is a little silly and “out there” but overall this was very enjoyable.
