Re-reading to refresh where I left off in book2. Still one of the best comics out there; great art, great story, great characters. Love it just as much the 2nd time around as when I first read this as it came out.

My friend used to bring these books in to geography class and we'd sit at the back of the room reading each new volume as she managed to borrow them from her uncle, and having the best time. And I have wanted to read Saga properly since and it's such a delight to discover that it's just as great as I remember. The art is beautiful and the story is great and the whole concept is wonderful. Character design?? Amazing.

There are lots of little details I love. Like how the characters speaking Blue are just speaking Blue and it doesn't translate them. And there are all these different species because it's space and why not. And that each of the Landfall and Wreath citizens have slightly different wings/horns.

Intergalactic parenting done by Romeo and Juliet on the run. Fantastic premise, good execution, a fun read. Excited to get into the next two!

Beautiful collection of the first three volumes of SAGA. I just love rereading them. Nice little bonus at the end of the collection --- Fiona Staples' process, sketchbook, etc. Definitely worth owning. Just look at that awesome cover!
