Literally Life embodied without words even though words were used to embody it.

Is it crazy that I would learn Portuguese just to read this book in the original language? Absolutely yes. But it's true.

What beautiful music I can hear in the depths of me. It is made of geometric lines crisscrossing in the air. It is chamber music. Chamber music has no melody. It is a way of expressing the silence. I'm sending you chamber writing. [40]

What am I doing in writing to you? trying to photograph perfume. [47]

O texto começa em uma prece. Deus criou o mundo. Aleluia! Nas pontas dos dedos, Clarice Lispector transversa pela criação, nascimento, evolução, vida, morte e alma. Não tem nenhuma característica específica de gênero literário. É inteiramente original, linguisticamente astuto e epistemologicamente genial.

Four stars for its incredible boldness, but reading it was a bit of a slog. Definitely unique among books I've read. A good exercise in loosening up your mind.
