This book was truly a work of art. Like it says in the book, it is a "feast of words". This is definitely not a normal book, and the best way I can describe it is as a literal stream of consciousness. It touches on themes/topics of birth, death, god, painting/art, animals, and flowers. I really enjoyed it and there are so many quotes that really hit home for me.
Read from the Provo library.

"Que febre: não consigo parar de viver. Nesta densa selva de palavras que envolvem espessamente o que sinto e penso e vivo e transforma tudo o que sou em alguma coisa minha que no entanto fica inteiramente fora de mim. Fico me assistindo pensar."

(não sei como avaliar, mas gostei bastante)

I am a heart beating in the world.

Second time reading it, loved it again, maybe more? Sucked me in, blew me away, left me breathless. I know no other book like agua viva

lispector's writing is absolutely divine, so this definitely won't be my last of hers. this one however seemed a bit too scattered for me to be completely able to follow her trains of thought, i often missed the points or simply didn't understand what she was trying to say. maybe that's on me though, i dunno. still an exciting author to have found !!

Very difficult to give a rating as it was a challenging book of stream of thought. Beautifully written but at times non-sensical.
