“What am I doing in writing to you? trying to photograph perfume.”

A marvelous, beguiling book that’s already begging me to reread it. As short as it was, it took me four days to read because every time I would pick it up I would have to (to a certain extent) re-learn it’s rhythms. But once I let it wash over me, allowed myself to be carried away, I enjoyed it so much. How do you capture a moment, an it, something ineffable? I’m not sure, but this comes as close as you can.
