Romance books are becoming a guilty pleasure and a fun way to take my mind off my stress. The cringier the better sometimes, and this book did its job :)

This one started off SO good, but quickly lost momentum. I’d say the first half was an easy 5 stars, but the second half was 3.

I’m both surprised and happy to say that I really enjoyed this book! I loved the idea of office rivals falling in love with each other, and it was so immensely satisfying to see it all happen. The beginning was definitely my favorite part of the book because of all the tension between Lucy and Josh while they basically pretend to hate each other. Some of their conversations did feel a little juvenile/unprofessional, especially given their workplace situation, and I didn’t think that whole storyline with Danny was super necessary, but overall I loved the romance. And as someone who adores fluff, I highly recommend this book that
