I like this, I was expecting your typical creature feature story when reading this, but it has an interesting mix of creature feature and natural disaster feel to it.
The book is a bit slow at first, with the locusts starting out as more of an inconvenience than a horror, but as the book goes on their impact get bigger.
This is my first Guy N Smith book, so I don’t know how it compares to his other works like the Crabs series, but I liked it.

its very much a book about locusts killing lots of things, as visceral and as ridiculous as a 1970s horror movie
