<b>What I really liked</b>
🔅 I loved the storyline, I thought it was completely gripping and really kept me engaged throughout, the writing was fast paced and just all around really interesting.
🔅 I really enjoyed the characters and the central roles that they play to the storyline- I feel this allowed all of the police work to be done in a really clever way.
🔅 I loved how multi-layered this story was and how it focussed on loads of different elements at once- something I don't often find to be the case with thrillers
<b>What didn't work as well for me</b>
🔅 This book is graphic and descriptive and at times it did just feel a little bit much- I would definitely stay away from this one if sexual assault is a triggering topic for you.
🔅 I thought it was quite predictable in terms of who was committing the crimes although the why was definitely something I didn't see coming until much later in the story which really kept the air of suspense.

Awesome start to a great series! Karin Slaughter in a fantastic storyteller. I love Sara but wasn't a huge Jeffery fan at first. He does redeem himself in further books.

Could not put it down! Stayed up til 5am turning page after page. Great debut novel of Karin Slaughter. Excited to read the rest of her work!
