I enjoyed my time with the audio version of this book. At times it was difficult to follow with so many characters, that I ended up tackling it in thirds.

The first 10 chapters I couldn't tell much. There were a lot of characters, and where I didn't have a physical copy of the book, I had a hard time remembering them.

The second third (chapters 11-20) definitely held my interest a lot more and I found whilst listening that I was at least following along with relative ease, even though the timeline was still very jumpy.

The last third was definitely my favourite third of the book. I will confess, I wanted something more gritty for the one doing the murders, it felt like a rather safe way to write them out. And then the final chapter felt like it was put there for the "transformation," so to speak.

I do recommend reading this, and probably reading it as a physical rather than an audiobook. I definitely enjoyed my time with the story but was unable to recall anything when I wasn't listening to it.
