So much happens in this book it really could’ve been 2. However the non stop action and high stakes was enjoyable and the ending was great. That epilogue though was a surprise.

This was by far my favorite book in the The Dark Artifices series, and one hell of a conclusion. I was initially struggling to get through this series because it is very heavily political and I was not as invested in the characters as I was in the previous stories, but this book definitely turned my enjoyment around. I still prefer the The Infernal Devices, but I am INVESTED and I need the Wicked Powers to come out.

OKAY. So I teared up not once but TWICE reading this. I will say that there is a section in the middle that was a bit long for my taste and dragged on a bit. And the back and forth of these events happening at the end. It all almost lowered my rating. And the epilogue. Hated that. BUT the TRUE ENDING 😭 so good.

Basically all I took away from this book was that I adore the Blackthorns, and Alec Lightwood is the BEST and no one can convince me otherwise.
