I loved it, this was such a fun quick read. It’s an introductory to The Dark Elements series and I think it gives you a preview of what the world looks like. I really liked the characters and the sweet little romance. It was fun!

JLA writes the BEST paranormal books. Gargoyles and romance how the eff but it works perfectly. Jas and Dez are so perfect and this was so sweet and lovely and feels omg. I can't wait to read Layla's story, I loved meeting her younger self here!

Errr merr gerrd!
I'll just say I love this author I haven't read a book I did not like from her and this is just a prequel-ish type of story.

All I can say is I loved this book. I loved Jasmine and Dez and Layla and Zayne. This introductory book is great and I cannot wait to read White Hot Kiss.

I just couldn't connect with this one. I'm not sure that I will read anymore in the series.

Oh. My. Goodness. I was thinking of passing up this book and this series entirely, but I'm so glad I didn't. I cannot wait to read White Hot Kiss. This story was marvelous. I wouldn't mind hearing more about Dez and Jasmine instead of Layla and Roth and Zayne, but I'll take what I can get. Who knows, I might enjoy Layla and Roth and Zayne more than Dez and Jasmine.
