DID NOT FINISH: 4%

Dnf @ 4%, finished the prologue and the first chapter and realized this is not the book for me. I’d rather read intelligent humor that is well placed rather than in your face over the top 13 yr old boy humor. Very cringe.  All the male characters in the first chapter felt like they would never exist in real life, I need at least a little bit of any character grounded in reality.

Adding one more Boston Bolt to my list of swoon worthy men that care and that have no problem with showing it. Brittanee Nicole you did it again. You made me fall head over heels for this man. From the banter that we all love between the guys in the locker room and the text messages this book gives it all to us.
Hannah is the PR manager for the Revs and Daniel Hall is beyond obsessed with this “dream girl”. Hockey Boy brings this golden retriever that is Daniel Hall and completely demolishes the walls Hannah has brought up throughout her life. The way Daniel Hall has healed the broken in Hannah. He is pure perfection. The spice is giving everything we all love from our hockey boy but the true star of it all is how he is there for his dream girl and shows her that she can count on him for whatever. I continue to love every book from the Boston Bolt series and this is no exception.

I read this 3 months ago and now had the chance to listen to the audiobook.  My rating remains the same:

Baby Hall finally got his book and it was on point for him.  He's fallen head over heels for Hannah and finally gets to shoot his shot one night in Arizona.  Turns out, that one night turned into a pregnancy.  Daniel is more than happy about this, even though he's in his early twenties and Hannah in her thirties.  Hannah isn't as excited, but more like shocked.  These two navigating life changing with the due date coming in the next nine months was a great story.

I love this series and all the characters in it.  I love the other series by Brittanee as well.  Do you have to read them prior to reading this one?  Not really but I do suggest it.  There are so many amazing characters with great stories told in other books/series.  Don't do yourself a disservice by not reading them.  You won't be disappointed by diving into the world of Brittanee Nicole.
