Playboy is the fourth book in the Boston Bolts Hockey series written by Brittanee Nicole.

What to expect:

*Accidental pregnancy

*Reformed & pierced playboy

*Hockey romance

I have got to find me a hockey player!!! 🥵 Extra points if he comes pierced! 😘

Another fantastic title to add to the Boston Bolts series, I absolutely love the found family aspect of this team and franchise! Books with weird family dynamics are my favorite.

No OW/OM drama, no jealousy, no third act breakup!

This story was just amazing! I loved every minute of it! The perfect golden retriever x black cat vibes.

Daniel has been after Hannah, for years, but she won't give him the light of day, until one night in Arizona. It was a night neither could forget(IYKYK😅) and now that Hannah is pregnant they definitely can't.

In the previous stories, Hannah wasn't my favorite, but a character I enjoyed reading. She has a colorful personality that doesn't shy away from speaking her thoughts. In this story we saw a more open and vulnerable side to her, her backstory brought tears to my eyes and I wanted to give her a huge hug!

Daniel was exactly how he was in other books. A goofball who speaks before he thinks, but is a complete softie for those he cares about. He loves with his whole heart and soul and shows this through his actions and words. He's a wonderful swoony book boyfriend who will quite literally do ANYTHING for his girl. In the end, his efforts paid off and he got his girl and HEA.

While I LOVED all the things that Daniel had done for Hannah, I wish we got to see more of Hannah doing things for Daniel. Of course, love isn't transactional, but I would have liked for Hannah to do more to show her love.

Found Family trope is my all time favorite trope and this book delivered! Even if everyone gave Daniel a hard time or didn't seem to be involved in Hannah's writing career they were there for both Daniel & Hannah when it mattered the most!

Noah Harrison fit into the Bolts and into Daniel's life perfectly and I'm so excited to have his story next! The Easter eggs in this book have me intrigued! My heart also broke for Camden and I hope he gets his HEA too!

Brittanee’s Boston hockey world has me in a chokehold in the best way. Playboy is easily one of my favorites of the series. (sorry, nothin will top War!) And Freaking Danny Hall?? He just might be one of the best book boyfriends.

I’m obsessed with Brittanee’s world and the close family she has built around these players. Their conversations are always hilarious and anytime you have Beckett mentioned, you know it's going to be good. Daniel has been crushing on Hannah for awhile and constantly got sh0t down. When he gets his chance for just one night, he feels like all his dreams came true. And then to find out that his dream girl was having his baby? Daniel was all in! Hannah is more guarded, never planned on her forever and she has some things in her past that have shaped her that way.

Watching Hall fumble through advice from his teammates was hilarious, but it was when he showed up as his authentic self that he really started crashing through Hannah’s walls. Getting to witness these two falling in love was pure magic. I showed up for the banter, stayed for the emotions and the spice.

At first I wasn’t sure about the character of Noah. I hated what it meant for Hall on the team. But quickly this character intrigued me and I am hoping to get a lot more from him!
